Please fill out the application below (both REU and RET applicants will use the same application) and then e-mail it, along with a two-page resume, (in either PDF or MSWord format) to:

*Research Experience for Teachers applicants should submit both undergraduate and graduate transcripts.

Please provide three letters of recommendation--at least two of which should be from faculty members (e-mailed, again, to appalachianheadwatersreu09@eku.edu),
Ask your referees to include:
- Your name
- Discussion of the length and nature of the referee's relationship to you, and ability to assess your abilities
- Most salient skills and strengths that suggest your success in a rigorous research-oriented environment
- An assessment of your ability to work independently and in teams or groups
- Discussion of your personal integrity, maturity, judgment, work ethic, and attitude
- Identification of any weaknesses or concerns that might affect your ability to successfully complete the program.
